On Saturday, May 7th, 2016 a team of volunteers affiliated with the annual Yale Day of Service partnered with Therapeutic Adventures (TA) & Thomas Jefferson Trout Unlimited (TJTU) to work on environmental beautification and trail accessibility for the Moormans River Trout Management Area. I am pleased to report that we had a total of 10 volunteers (5 who were children) who provided 50 hours of service. The kids were very enthusiastic and did a great job!
You can feel good knowing that the service you provided will support our Bug SlingerTM Warriors adaptive fly fishing programs for:
- Physical & Developmental Disabilities
- Wounded Warriors, Disabled Veterans and their Families
- Cancer Survivors
- Chronic Illnesses and Other Special Health Needs
