SCHOLARSHIPS
Over the past forty years, thousands of clients have participated in a wide variety of adaptive sports, adaptive outdoor adventures and specialty therapeutic services including: alpine and nordic skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, sailing, fly fishing, kayaking, canoeing, camping, and backpacking, hand-cycling, and fitness training. We are pleased to report that Therapeutic Adventures has never denied an individual the opportunity to participate in any of our programs, projects or events due to an inability to pay.
In order to keep our programs affordable to the individuals and families we serve, Therapeutic Adventures has provided both partial and full scholarships to ALL of our clients. The fees charged to clients do not reflect the overall cost of operating an adaptive program. Through donations and scholarships, we have been able to underwrite the partial or full cost of operating our programs. Through creative partnerships and the use of our trained ALL VOLUNTEER program staff, we have been able to reduce operational expenses. We are grateful for the generous volunteer assistance and other contributions and donations that make it feasible for us to offset the total expense of providing adaptive sports and adaptive outdoor adventure programs. This is just one of the many ways that we work to serve you.
